As Business Development Representative, your priority will be to assist Bonfire with acquiring new customers and managing the customer's entire journey as they work with Bonfire. The three primary responsibilities are:

  • Identifying new sales leads
  • Providing overviews of our services
  • Maintaining great relationships with existing customers

This role is crucial to Bonfire’s success and will be a front-facing contact for all potential and existing customers. Quarterly goals are based on an individual sales matrix that focuses on creating strong sales habits to drive positive results. Using these personal MBO targets, bonuses will be achieved by hitting new contact, new meeting, and new opportunity goals – not tied to the company’s revenue.

Day-to-day duties include:

  • Researching organizations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new markets
  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and setup meetings
  • Communicating with clients using strong writing skills and the ability to clearly summarize objectives
  • Planning and supporting new marketing initiatives
  • Attending conferences, meetings, trainings, and industry events
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations
  • Work with internal resources to support quotes and proposals

Required Qualifications:

  • BS in Communications, Business or Marketing, or 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment, as well as deal in ambiguity
  • Experience in dealing with customers in a face-to-face environment (people person necessary)
  • Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) tools, such as Hubspot
  • Ability to readily grasp complex environments and be able to present findings back to customers in an easily understood way
  • Ability to travel for meetings and conferences
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent time management and organization

Additional Desired Qualifications (not required):

  • 0-3 years working in a similar role. Open to recent university graduates
  • Prior telecommunications experience

At a minimum, a background check, education verification, employment verification, and drug screen will be conducted upon hire. Your suitability for employment is contingent upon successfully passing these required pre-employment screenings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,00.00 - $90,000.00 per year (including bonuses)

Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay
