As Director of Project Management, your priority is planning, building, managing, and reporting on Bonfire’s project portfolio. Success will be achieved through driving project management discipline including governance, team leadership, prioritization, communication, and quality controls.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leads and manages the Project Management Office (PMO) team to drive accountability
  • Manages key stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure expectations are met
  • Oversees all elements of the project portfolio, monitoring performance across all departments
  • Identifies and manages project and portfolio level risks and reports them to the executive team
  • Partners with leaders throughout the company to ensure PMO alignment with business strategy
  • Oversees the creation of dashboards and reports providing transparency on project and portfolio status to all stakeholders
  • Manages resources across projects and clearly communicates capacity issues to executive team
  • Creates and manages project budgets, billing milestones, and monitors revenue recognition
  • Hold individuals accountable for meeting deliverables on time and in budget
  • Ensures QC, compliance, and permitting regulations are followed on all projects
  • Act as the leading point of contact during the lifecycle of projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • BS in Business, Accounting or related program, or relevant work experience
  • 10 Years Project/Program Management Experience
  • Experience leading multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Experience with project management software such as Project or SmartSheets
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment, as well as deal in ambiguity
  • Experience in dealing with customers in a face-to-face environment (people person necessary)
  • Ability to readily grasp complex environments and be able to present findings back to stakeholders in an easily understood way
  • Ability to travel for meetings and conferences
  • Excellent time management and organization

Additional Desired Qualifications (not required):

  • Experience overseeing telecommunication fiber projects including: Planning, Engineering, Permitting, Construction, Installation and turn-up (TTU)
  • Experience with telecommunication fiber projects including: Long Haul, Middle Mile, Last Mile or FTTH (Fiber to The Home)
  • Strong grasp of OSP/ISP engineering & Construction deliverables
  • Understanding OSP fiber construction to include plowing, trenching, boring, and aerial
  • Understanding Gigabit Passive Optical Networks (GPON/XGS-PON) products and technologies
  • Understanding Rights of Way (ROW) and permitting deliverables
  • Master’s in business administration
  • PMP Certification

At a minimum, a background check, education verification, employment verification, and drug screen will be conducted upon hire. Your suitability for employment is contingent upon successfully passing these required pre-employment screenings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
